Alicia Rothman grew up dancing in Indianapolis under the instruction of Diane Gudat. There she trained in ballet, tap, jazz, lyrical, and acrobatics. She went to earn a BA in dance from the State University of New York at Buffalo where she continued training in ballet, modern, and jazz. While in Buffalo, she was able to work with instructors such as Tom Ralabate, William Thomas, Eileen Lambert, and Karen Georger. Alicia is also certified through testing by Dance Masters of America to teach ballet, jazz, tap and acrobatics. Recently Alicia became licensed through East Carolina University to teach dance in public schools. She believes in consistent, careful, and methodical instruction to ensure the development of correct technique. Alicia also believes in instilling a strong work ethic in all of her students. She loves to share her passion for dance with students of all ages and abilities and believes that every student should be made to feel special and worthy of attention. |
